For those of you who do not know what this is (Greg had to tell me), they are dear tracks. Greg is so excited. There were tracks all over the place.

We are so excited that we are finally building our house. It should take somewhere between 4 - 6 months. They are suppose to be out there today clearing off all the underbrush. And then the plans are that they will start digging out the basement by the end of next week. We haven't been up there today, so I don't know if any clearing has been done. And since I have turned into a little of a pesimist, I will believe it when they start the digging. I think (I know) it will feel more real when they start digging and we can see work being done. Right now it just kind of feels like we have just moved in with our parents. In fact, I have been so busy with school and moving stuff to three locations, and trying get things organized in two different houses (40 miles away from each other) I haven't even had time to stop and think that I haven't been in my "old" house for over a week now. And, luckily that means I haven't put much thought into the fact that they have probably painted over all of my families history on the walls. I would rather not think about that anyway.
