I am a wife and mother of 3 year old twins. I also am no longer working on my Ph.D full time. It was hard to give that up since I was going on full scholarship. That may never happen again, but I know my kids will not be this age again! My husband is a Fire Leuitenant. We have been married for almost ten years.

Welcome!

Welcome to my first blog site. I hope that this gives me an opportunity to stay in touch with friends and family and keep you all updated on things going on here in the Blizard household. Right now as I am typing Matthew is crawling all over me (that makes typing so easy) and Katie is sliding backwards down the slide in the living room. Her favorite saying the last few days has been "NO! Mine!" Joy reminded me yesterday of those sweet days when Matthew could take a toy and Katie would just go find something else to play with. Now, if he even looks as if he is thinking of taking a toy she starts screaming "NO! Mine!"

It is time to get two little ones down for the night (at least I hope so). Hopefully I can write more next time.

Well, it is official... I am now unemployed. It was by my choice. I did offer a two week notice, however they were not intersted in me working it out. So, I took my severence pay and went on my happy way. I am so excited to get to be home with the kids.

I am volunteering at the Weekend To Remeber this weekend, so I really won't get to start staying home with them until Monday. I think I am going to make me a list of things that I have been wanting to get done at home and I can start working on them one at a time. That way I will still like I am accomplishing something even at home.

I have decided I am going to sell Premier Jewelry again and try to pick up two or three houses to clean for eating out money. I already have one house lined up and I am having a "kick off" party for my jewelry on the 24th. All are welcome to come to this. It will be at 10 o'clock at my house. Please feel free to bring the kids. Matthew and Katie will be here. So, we can just let all the kids play in the play room.
